The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:
R. Treacy rode Set The Tone (reserve) trained by David M.O'Brien (Race 2).D.E. Mullins rode Jet To Monte Carlo (reserve) trained by Emmet Mullins (Race 3).
D.J. O'Keeffe rode Convincing (reserve) trained by Ciaran Murphy (Race 3).
029B Racing Again On The 19th Feb. H'cap S'ch
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Blue Hop, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Blue Hop, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly.
Michael Kenneally, rider of Mount Frisco, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms P. Hassett the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr L. Burke-Ott, rider of River Vale, placed second, weighed in 1.3lbs light. Evidence was heard from Ms P. Hassett who stated that when Mr L. Burke-Ott initially presented himself to weigh out he was light and then represented with the correct weight. She further confirmed that when weighing in the rider appeared to have everything that he weighed out with. This was confirmed by Mr L. Burke-Ott who stated that he went to the bathroom after weighing out but other than that he was unable to account for the discrepancy. Evidence was also heard from the trainer, Michael Winters who confirmed the animal was saddled with it's full equipment and could offer no further explanation. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified River Vale from second place in accordance with Rule 231. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards found Mr L. Burke-Ott to be in breach of Rule 231(i) and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for seven racedays. The amended result is as follows:

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Tsavo Park trained by John Joseph Hanlon was found to have blood at both nostrils post race, possibly as a result of falling.
029C Holycross M'dn H'dleAt the request of the Raceday Stewards, E. Staples, rider of Ocean Of Dreams, trained by Gary McGill, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very green all the way.
At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J.W. Kennedy, rider of Playtime (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was one paced and stayed on past tired horses.
029D www.thurlesraces.ie M'dn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fou De Toi (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
029E Thurles Rated Novice H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gin Tonic (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
K.M. Donoghue, rider of Welonlyhavedone, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was disappointing.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Welonlyhavedone, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
029F William Hill Challenge Series H'cap HdleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the back straight, involving Roc My Haarth, ridden by L. Quinlan and Snow Punt, ridden by P.T. Enright, where it appeared Snow Punt got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. L. Quinlan stated that he was staying out wide looking for the best ground when things became tight. P.T. Enright stated that he felt he maintained his line when things got tight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kanog Bay, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be showing signs of delayed recovery post race.
D.J. O'Connor, rider of He Fitz In, trained by D.E.Fitzgerald, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was going forward with momentum at the last on the first circuit and ended up on heels, clipping a heel as a result. Having viewed the recording of the race the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
K.M. Donoghue, rider of Kanog Bay, trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran disappointingly.
